Gregory Walker has practiced architecture in Florida, Massachusetts, and Georgia for the past 15 years. Prior to the formation of Houser Walker Architecture, he worked as a project manager and project architect in collaboration with Lord Aeck Sargent Architecture and Smith Dalia Architects, both located in Atlanta, GA, and with Perry Dean Rogers & Partners, located in Boston, MA.
Gregory’s work has been recognized with honor awards from the Boston Society of Architects and the Atlanta Urban Design Commission and his work exhibited in Boston and Atlanta. In 2004, he was awarded the AIA Georgia Young Architect Award. He has taught at the University of Arkansas and as an adjunct Design Studio Instructor at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
He is registered to practice in Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, and Alabama, and is NCARB and LEED accredited. In addition to his work and teaching, Gregory maintains a high level of professional and community involvement, having served on the Advisory Board for the National Young Architects Forum from 2005-2007. He was previously on the Board of Directors for the AIA Atlanta Chapter and served as the Young Architects Atlanta President from 2003-2004. He is currently a member of the Alumni Advisory Council for the College of Architecture, Design, and Construction at Auburn University.
